Editorial

You are holding in your hands the first ever “FREE” edition of Christis, the challenging Christian magazine published by students from the University of York. This issue marks the beginning of a new academic year and so you may well be reading Christis for the first time, not knowing what to expect. The declaration of aims, set out below, sums up what Christis is about and as such means that many of the articles contained within are challenging and often controversial. If you feel moved to write an article or a letter for inclusion in a future copy of Christis then put pen to paper and send the result off to our address, also below. Articles will be published if the editorial board decides that they are useful in futhering the aims of the magazine.

If you do not feel compelled to write, or even if you do, but would like to make a contribution to the work of Christis than all donations will be gratefully received. Your donation can be sent to the same address and a form is included in the magazine for this purpose. Please remember that the continuation of Christis is now heavily dependent on your contributions.

Here endeth the editorial column, please read on at your leisure.
