Despite the bitter cold outside, spring is showing signs of being on the way. The snowdrops are here — I don’t think I’ve seen this many snowdrops before — and the sun has started waking me up at seven every morning.

Spring is, however, not here yet. Exams begin to loom, money begins to run out, and the weather is still only teasing. Remember, though, God is always with you, no matter how cold it is! It is especially important at this time of Lent to keep a sense of perspective, and to look forward to Easter, the celebration of a most amazing gift.

In this, our hundredth issue, I hope we have something to inspire you. We have contributions from former mem- bers, replies to previous articles and a look back over the magazine’s colourful history. I hope Christis’ pages will continue to entertain and inform well into the future — though of course this relies on your contributions!
