As a Christis type person who’s also involved in Christian Aid, I’d like to welcome you to Issue 19½ and Christian Aid week in general, which for those who haven’t heard (where’ve you been?) is week 4. This year there is a very full week of events, as featured (almost exclusively) later in this issue, with the emphasis on making people aware of what’s happening in the world and what Christian Aid are doing about it. However, should you wish to give large amounts of dosh, or even small ones, they will be very gratefully received at any of the events you go to, or by Helen Secker at Goodricke Porters Lodge.
So have a browse though Christis and the lineup for the week, choose a few events that take your fancy, and come along and support us. Thank you for reading the lesser read bit of Christis, and I hope you have a both pleasant and educational week.
