Monday 17th
1.15 pm: Video (V/044) “To Strengthen the Poor” — an introduction to Christian Aid
7.30 pm: Videos (A/046 — tbc) “Same Rights for Severina” — human rights in the Third World. “The Promised Land” — the situation in Palestine. Followed by an organised discussion

Tuesday 18th
1.15 pm: Talk on Fair Trade (V/044) given by a speaker from CAFOD
7.30 pm: Slide Show (A/135) on South America and its people

Wednesday 19th
1.15 pm: Prayer Meeting (V/044)
6.00 pm: Goodricke Lecture (P/X001). The Vice-President of India, who has worked for the Save the Children Fund, will deliver this annual lecture
8.00 pm: Video (A/046 — tbc) “Bittersweet” examines the production of sugar and the exploitation of plantation workers

Thursday 20th
1.15 pm: Prayer Meeting (V/044)
7.30 pm: The Market Trading Game (D/016). Third World and EC trading game

Friday 21st
1.15 pm: Prayer Meeting (V/044)
8.00 pm: Workshop (Heslington Church — tbc) to learn music used by Christians in the developing countries in their worship and everyday life
10.00 pm: Night Prayer (Heslington Church). Prayers and readings from Third World countries and music learnt in the workshop

On Monday, Wednesday and Friday there will be an information stall in Vanbrugh. On Saturday 15 May there is a barn dance — check posters for more details.

All the events are free, but there will be a chance for you to donate some money to the work of Christian Aid at each of them (except at the Goodricke lecture).
