Welcome indeed to another issue of Christis, the last before summer. As ever, we hope you find something enclosed within these pages of value or interest. If not then at the very least we hope you like the cartoons! As you’ll notice — this issue we suffered something of a dearth of letters. If you want to come back at an article, inform us all of something or just vent some steam, please don’t hesitate to write to us by sticking a note in our SU Pigeonhole (Come on! Don’t be scared of it!), or else emailing it to submissions@christis.org.uk.
This magazine has been formed to offer an open and challenging attitude towards Christianity, provoking discussion within it, but also extending beyond it. It aims to provide a forum and a mouthpiece for concerned Christianity in its broadest sense.
This issue of Christis was, quintessentially, a result of:
Hilary
Inwood
Alan Beebe
Andrew Filby
Heather Colgate

Becki Sykes
Matt Stallabrass

Dave Spence

and all our contributors.

The views contained in Christis are not necessarily the views of the members of the committee.
We’re all going on a summer holiday. No more Christis for a month or two!
If you have any information at all regarding Christianity, or anything that you think may be of interest to our readers, tell us about it and we’ll be happy to advertise.
