Christians On Campus

Meth-Ang:

Meet on Mondays at 7:30pm in Langwith Room 037. After the meetings (9:45ish) they can be found in Derwent bar for discussion and drinking. Also, many of them can often be found in Hes church for Night Prayer at 10pm on a Friday.

The theme for the speakers this term will be “Being a Christian in … ”

Events scheduled:

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday wk0:
Afternoon Tea in room B/014 of Langwith. Get to know some faces over a cuppa (2–4pm each day).
Friday week 0:
Pizza party in Heslington Church (probably — venue to be confirmed, so watch out for posters saying otherwise … ) 7:30pm, with escorts from Central Hall at 7:20pm.
Sunday week 0:
York Wall Walk! Leave Hes Church at 1:30pm, stopping at Central Hall at 1:45pm. Featuring coffee places and professional tour guide Dean Akrill!

Christis:

Meets every Wednesday in Wentworth W/202 at 2:15pm for fun, frolix and the occasional attempt to produce a coherent magazine. Come and join the festivities.

Christian Union:

Main meeting on Saturdays at 7pm in V/045. This term’s bonanza includes:

Cassoc:

As many of you will be aware there is a superb Catholic Society here on campus. Sadly they haven’t managed to meet our printing deadline. But they’ll be at the Fresher’s Fare, as will all these other societies.
