Welcome: Indeed, indeed welcome to a spangling new Christis. We have quite a mixed bag for you this time around, adequately expressing Christis’ diversity, depth … or sheer desperation for articles. If this is your first intrepid encounter with our groovy mag, I hope you enjoy the experience, and that you find its humble few pages suitably entertaining, informative and challenging. And to those of you for whom Christis is already an old friend — you know the score! No room for more.
This magazine has been formed to offer an open and challenging attitude towards Christianity, provoking discussion within it, but also extending beyond it. It aims to provide a forum and a mouthpiece for concerned Christianity in its broadest sense.
This issue of Christis was, quintessentially, a result of:
God
Paul Read
Becki Sykes
Matt Stallabrass
Heather Colgate
Andy Filby
Dean Akrill
Mark Ford
Richard Heslett
Dave Spence
Alan Beebe
Hilary Inwood
The County of Kent

and all our contributors.
