Those Baffling Christian Societies

What are they? What do they do? What sort of toastie filling do they resemble? Christis provides the answers!

With a view to making those Freshers’ Fair options (Christian-wise, at any rate) that much clearer, we at Christis have hounded and harassed members of each Christian Society to tell us about their organisation. The questions we posed were as follows:

  1. What does your society hope to achieve?
  2. Why should freshers join you?
  3. When and where do you meet?
  4. If your society was a TV programme, which TV programme would it be, and why?
  5. If your society was a toastie filling, which toastie filling would it be, and why?
  6. If your society was a book, which book would it be, and why? (The answer “The Bible” strictly forbidden!)
  7. If your society was a pop song, which pop song would it be, and why?
  8. If your society was a hymn, which hymn would it be, and why?
  9. What is your society’s favourite pub?
  10. What is your society’s favourite fish?
