Christis In Brief!

• Way, way back in December, the Christmas carol service was well attended, with contributions from all societies. Thankyou to all who took part …
• More recently, members of Christian societies joined together in a service of prayer in the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. This was a real success and a new venture for Christians on campus, with four societies bringing different ways of worshipping God, and all sharing and participating. Hopefully there’ll be more stuff like this in future.
• All Christian societies have now new leaders, starting with Christian Union whose new exec and college teams took over at the beginning of term, and most recently MethAng and CASSOC who chose their illustrious committees on Monday and Tuesday of week 3 respectively.
• Theology For All continues in Derwent Terrace Room every Thursday at 8pm. The Chaplains would welcome all to attend.
• There will be a joint Ash Wednesday service in Heslington Church at 5.30 led by the Chaplaincy.
• The following week, Wed Week 7, the chaplaincy lecture is happening in V/045 at 7.30, with the Theological advisor to CAFOD.
