
The new C.U. leadership went on a training weekend, to learn, share fellowship and to get to know one another.
The Chaplaincy held two retreats, one to Ampleforth (by the Catholic chaplaincy) and another to Mirfield (by the Anglicans/Methodists), and a fun and enjoyable time was had by all.
A joint Ash Wednesday service was held in Heslington Church, where Anglicans, Methodists, Catholics, and a whole host of others joined together for a good ashing. After the difficulties last year, this one produced a feeling of togetherness that was sadly lacking last time.
The Chaplaincy Lecture was held on Wed Week 7 on ‘A biblical approach to Jubilee’ focusing of the wider aspects of Jubilee, as well as on the work of the Jubilee 2000 colalition.
