Christians on Campus

Any members of the University are welcome to attend any event

Week 3 is Christian Aid week! For further details, see Christis in Brief.

Christian Union

The CU have their main meeting every Saturday at 7pm in V/045. Weekly prayer meetings are also held as well as small Bible study and fellowship groups at college level. Please contact the CU bods at socs25@york.ac.uk for more information or grab someone at any main meeting.

Also prayer meetings are held 6.30pm Wednesdays in D/016 and 8.00am Fridays in D/056.

MethAng

MethAng meet every Monday at 7.30pm in L/037 — this term, Sex Drugs, and Rock & Roll:

Week 3: A talk on medical ethics including drugs
Week 4: An evening of prayer and music
Week 6: Talk on women in the Church and feminist issues
Week 7: A picnic!

Christis

Christis meets every Wednesday in D/130 at 2.15pm to make some attempt to put together a magazine and have a laugh. Please come and join us. No artistic, computing, literary talent required (as you can tell!) but if you have it don’t be shy!!!

Week 4: Christis Social with rounders, picnic and pub! Sat 2pm on Hes. Green

Chaplaincy

Summer Term course has 4 sessions on Christian Ethics — 6th, 13th, 20th May, and 3rd June contact the chaplaincy for details.

Ascension Day (Thursday Week 3) has a Sunrise Service at the top of the Minster — meet 7.20 in the Minster car park .and then, in the evening, there is Catholic Mass at 5.30 in Heslington Church.
