Christis in Brief!

Christian Aid Week (Wk3) was a great success:

The various events (Rich & Poor Dinner, Bridge Collections, Bar Quiz etc) raised over 380 pounds, for development projects around the world.

On campus, numerous prayer groups reflected on the issues of fair trade and development, and several students went to hear the head of Christian Aid speaking in York.

On top of this, there were about 100 new signatories for the Jubilee 2000 petition, and Fairer World raised 142 pounds at the Fair Trade Market.

Thanks also go to RAG, for helping count up the totals, and all those who put in effort behind the scenes.
