Mistletoe and Wine
At this time of Christmas
Two thousand years ago,
A child was born in Bethlehem.
But that part we all know.
We know there was a stable.
We know there was a star.
And shepherds and three wise men
Had travelled from afar.
But do we know that baby,
Who came to save the Earth?
He took our sins and died for us.
A love beyond all worth.
He grew up as our saviour.
No riches, yet a king.
Was crucified that we may live.
We owe him everything.
