Well, it's here again: the editorial from a completely new Christis Chair . Only five weeks ago, I was settling into my new post as Subscriptions and Advertising Co-ordinator, and now here I am as Chair/Beanbag. I have to admit that I was rather alarmed at the prospect of such a huge role, less than a term into my university life. However, after avoiding the post at the first EGM of last term, I spoke to God about it and He seemed to feel that it was something that I could handle and contribute to. We of course have a new committee for this year, details of whom are given at the bottom of this page. As always, we have a number of interesting articles this issue. No doubt some of them will raise issues and debates amongst yourselves. Please e-mail us your comments and responses as they are always more than welcome . At Christis, we are always looking for more people to join in, either to write something for the magazine or to help out with production (which is always hectic, as I am discovering). If you are interested in this or would like to hear some more about it, feel free to e-mail us or come to one of our meetings, which are held at 1:15pm, on Wednesdays, in Room D/130. Enjoy the first Christis of 2003. |
Christis magazine, while having a Christian basis, is open to those of any faith or none. We welcome articles on social, political, religious, cultural and personal issues, provoking discussion within Christianity and beyond it.
